All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening and credit to director Chris Loveless and the team for finally getting this production onstage after a frustrating few years. Just a couple of minor observations Firstly, modern glasses with period costumes: now I know some struggle to see without them and I appreciate that, but it just detracts from the overall picture. As does footwear with a variety of shoes, trainers, and glitzy doc martins. All in all, this was a very enjoyable evening.
