Elizabeth also sang “Somewhere” and a memorable performance of “Never Enough” from “The Greatest Showman”. Stephen Sondheim was honoured with a couple of numbers from his showbiz reunion musical, “Follies”. Rosemarie Wood put everything into the hoofers lament, “I’m still Here”. Then the ladies ensemble described how they were all ‘Broadway Babies’. These type of evenings allow companies to dip into scores not yet released for amateur performance. Miss Saigon is one of those shows. Rebecca Wood and Rachael Booth gave a beautiful rendition of “I Still Believe”. That big finale was the exhilarating “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from “Hairspray” which was given all the razzle-dazzle by the company with Scott Lees as Edna Turnblad. WOW!
