Ever since playing 'Christopher Robin' at the tender age of four our Sparkly Lady has been involved in both amateur and professional theatre.

Born in Kendal and trained in Manchester as a violinist, she studied conducting and voice production too. She has been part of the National Youth Orchestra, The Lancashire Youth Orchestra, The BBC Northern
Orchestra and The Hallé.

Doreen is much respected in the area and as well as our M.D. she also is Musical Director for the local Gilbert & Sullivan Society.
